Listening
Time is given to hearing the whole account, including the parts that seem tangential. People frequently mention the most relevant thing last.
About the practitioner
Vibha Jain has practised as a hypnotherapist for more than fifteen years and has conducted over 2,400 sessions. The approach is built around one principle: that the person in front of you is not a category, and should not be treated as one.
Introduction
Hypnotherapist · Hypnotherapy Pvt Ltd · Mumbai
Over fifteen years of practice and more than 2,400 sessions, one thing has been consistent: the people who come through the door rarely resemble one another. They arrive at different points in their lives, with different histories, different levels of scepticism and very different ideas about what they want. Some know exactly what they are looking for. Many have only a sense that something is not sitting right.
That variety is why the first part of any working relationship is listening — properly, and for longer than most people expect. What someone says in the first ten minutes is often not the whole picture, and rushing to a plan before understanding the situation tends to produce plans that do not fit.
It is also why expectations are discussed openly and early, including expectations that cannot be met. Being told what an approach will not do is more useful, in the long run, than being encouraged to hope for something unlikely.
This page describes experience and approach. Details of specific qualifications, certifications and professional memberships are not listed here, because only verified information should appear on a website of this kind. If you would like to ask about training and credentials before arranging anything, you are entirely welcome to — it is a reasonable question and it will be answered directly.
Professional approach
Time is given to hearing the whole account, including the parts that seem tangential. People frequently mention the most relevant thing last.
Plain language, no jargon used to impress, and no implication that a person should already understand something they have never encountered.
Circumstances, history, culture, health and responsibilities all shape what is appropriate. None of them are treated as background detail.
There is no standard programme that everyone works through. What is proposed follows from the conversation, not from a template.
Practical things matter — the room, the timing, the pace, and whether a person genuinely feels able to say that something is not working.
No guarantees are offered, because none can honestly be given. What is offered is a considered process and a straight answer.
Hypnotherapy is not medical or psychiatric care and is not presented as such. Where a concern sits outside what this approach can appropriately address, that is said clearly and the conversation turns to what would be more useful — including the possibility that the answer is a doctor rather than another appointment here.

What to expect
The sequence below describes how things usually unfold. It is not a fixed pathway, and not every visitor will follow exactly the same process — some stop after the first conversation, which is a perfectly good outcome.
An unhurried discussion of what has brought you here, what you are hoping for, and how the approach works.
Clarifying what you would actually like to be different, in terms specific enough to be worked with.
An honest assessment of whether hypnotherapy is an appropriate approach for your circumstances — including the possibility that it is not.
Where sessions go ahead, they are shaped around your goals and your pace, with what is proposed explained beforehand.
Reviewing how things have gone and deciding together what follows — including stopping, or pursuing a different form of support.
The same process is described in more detail on the “How Hypnotherapy May Help” page, including what a session involves and what it does not.
The practice

Enquiries are welcome by phone or email. There is no obligation attached to an enquiry, and no expectation that you will have decided anything before making one. Many people get in touch simply to ask whether their situation is the sort of thing this approach is suited to at all — which is a good question, and one worth asking before committing time or money.
